Haya Halaw’s The Little World Inside featured in The New Arab
We are really happy to see Haya Halaw and The Little World Inside featured in The New Arab.
This project has been part of Haya’s life for quite some time. It is her first author project, something she often calls her “baby.”
Those who know Haya know how much care she puts into everything she creates. She painted every spread of The Little World Inside with patience, and quiet dedication, something you immediately feel when looking through the project. There is something very authentic in the way Haya tells stories, in the feelings she brings into her work.
At Illustrated Arab, this is exactly why we believe in giving author projects the time and space they need to grow. Some stories take time. They need space, care, and patience to become what they are meant to be.
And maybe this feels especially important today. We spend so much time asking what machines might replace, but stories have always been about something deeply human, feelings, memories, fears, tenderness, the things we carry inside and try to make sense of.
We are very happy to see a small part of Haya’s world reaching more readers, and grateful to The New Arab for this beautiful feature.
